The 2001 Illusion Red GL1800 pictured on the cover belongs to Larry D. Stevens, GWRRA #16429. He writes, “My wife, Elizabeth, and I researched the 1800 on our computer, then went to a Honda show in Litchfield, Illinois, to talk to reps about the new Wing. We liked what we heard about the extra horsepower, and the fuel injection is much more responsive. Needless to say, we love our new GL1800 Wing.”
Stalwart Gold Wingers, the Stevens have owned a 1979 GL1000, 1986 GL1200 and a 1992 GL1500, and are Charter Members of Chapter IA-E in Burlington, Iowa. The winter scene photo was taken about a mile and one-half from their home by Larry’s brother-in-law, Gordon Walker.
